Privacy Policy
At Safir Luxury Morocco (“Safir”, “we”, “us”), your privacy matters as much as your journey. This policy explains what personal information we collect through safirluxurymorocco.com (the “Site”), how we use it, and the choices you have. We handle personal data in accordance with Moroccan Law No. 09-08 on the protection of personal data and, for visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the applicable European data-protection rules (GDPR).

2. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you contact us, request a quote, use our trip-planner form, book a trip or experience, or subscribe to our newsletter, we may collect: your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, country of residence, travel dates, party size (including whether you travel with children), travel preferences and special requests, and the content of your messages to us.
Booking information. To arrange your trip we may also need details such as passport information for hotel or transport reservations, dietary requirements, health or mobility information you choose to share so we can adapt activities, and billing details needed to process payment.
Information collected automatically. When you browse the Site, we and our service providers collect technical data such as your IP address, device and browser type, pages visited, and how you arrived at the Site. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies (see section 5).
3. How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiries and prepare personalized travel proposals;
- To organize and manage your trip: reservations with riads, hotels, camps, drivers, guides and other partners;
- To communicate with you before, during and after your journey, including by email and WhatsApp;
- To process payments and keep required accounting records;
- To send our newsletter and offers, only if you have subscribed (you can unsubscribe at any time);
- To understand how the Site is used and improve our services and marketing (analytics and advertising measurement);
- To comply with legal obligations.
Where GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases: performance of a contract (organizing your trip), your consent (newsletter, non-essential cookies), our legitimate interests (improving our services, responding to inquiries), and compliance with legal obligations.
4. WhatsApp communications
If you contact us on WhatsApp, your communication is also subject to WhatsApp’s own terms and privacy policy. We use WhatsApp for trip coordination and guest assistance; we do not add you to marketing lists through WhatsApp without your consent.
5. Cookies, analytics and advertising
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies:
- Essential cookies — required for the Site to function (for example, remembering your cookie choices). These do not require consent.
- Analytics — we use Google Analytics 4, deployed through Google Tag Manager, to measure how visitors use the Site (pages viewed, approximate location, traffic sources). This helps us improve our content and services.
- Advertising — we use Google Ads conversion tracking and may use remarketing, so we can measure our campaigns and show relevant ads to people who visited the Site.
Analytics and advertising cookies are set only after you give consent through the cookie banner shown on your first visit. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie settings on the Site, and you can also manage or delete cookies in your browser settings. For details on how Google processes data, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services (policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites).
6. Who we share your information with
We never sell your personal data. We share it only where needed to deliver our services:
- Local travel partners — riads, hotels, desert camps, drivers, guides and activity providers receive only the details they need to host you (typically names, party size, dates and relevant preferences);
- Service providers — website hosting, email, form and newsletter tools, payment processing, and Google (analytics/advertising as described above);
- Authorities — where required by law (for example, hotels in Morocco are legally required to register guests).
7. International transfers
We are based in Morocco, so if you contact us from abroad your data is transferred to Morocco. Some of our service providers (such as Google) may process data in other countries, including the United States, under their own safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
8. How long we keep your data
We keep inquiry data for up to 2 years after our last exchange, booking and invoicing data for the period required by Moroccan accounting and tax law (generally 10 years), and newsletter data until you unsubscribe. We then delete or anonymize it.
9. Your rights
You may at any time request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict its processing, withdraw a consent you have given, and (where GDPR applies) request portability of your data. To exercise these rights, write to contact@safirluxurymorocco.com — we respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Moroccan data-protection authority (CNDP, www.cndp.ma) or, if you are in the EEA/UK, with your local supervisory authority.
10. Security
We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including secure hosting (HTTPS), restricted access to booking information, and careful selection of our service providers. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information at every step.
11. Children
The Site is intended for adults. We collect information about children only when a parent or guardian provides it as part of a family booking.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last revised; significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
